Program Hours: Monday through Friday, 1-5 days per week, until 6:00pm

Our program is designed to provide middle school students in grades 6 through 8 with a dynamic and supportive environment after school. With our team of highly trained, caring, and attentive staff, your child will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful activities, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships.

How to Register?
Registration for the program is open on discoverDYCD. Please follow the steps below on how to register for the program:
1) Visit the Application Portal: Go to DiscoverDYCD.
2) Select Program Type: Choose “Youth and Afterschool Programs” from the available options.
3) Search for Kings Bay YM-YWHA: In the list of programs, locate “Kings Bay
YM-YWHA” and select the site for School’s Out New York City (SONYC) at Avenue
W Annex (3043 Avenue W, Brooklyn, NY 11229). Click “Add To List” to proceed.
4) Sign In or Create an Account:
● If you already have an account, log in.
● If not, create a new account. Use an email address you frequently check to
receive program updates and information.
5) Add Your Child as a Participant: After logging in, add your child as a participant to
your account. This step is essential for registering them for the afterschool program.
6) Complete the Registration: Follow the on-screen prompts to finalize the registration
process.
7) Confirmation: After completing registration, you may receive a confirmation email or
additional instructions through the application portal.
