1.What are the hours of the afterschool program?
The afterschool program runs from school dismissal until 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. We also offer a late stay option until 7:00 PM for an additional fee.

2. What is the cost and procedure for the late stay option?
The late stay option until 7:00 PM is available for an additional fee. Please contact our office for specific rates and to register your child for this extended care service.

3. Who can attend the After School program?
The program is open to students from kindergarten through 5th grade.

4. What activities are offered in the afterschool program?
Our program includes Homework help, Arts and Crafts, Sports, Dance, and various enrichment activities designed to foster Social-Emotional Development, Improv, STEM, Debate, Storytelling, Board Games, Outdoor activities and Swimming.

5. Is transportation provided from the school to the afterschool program?
Yes, we provide transportation from select schools to Kings Bay Y. Please check with our staff to confirm if your child’s school is included in our transportation route.

6. What is the cost of the afterschool program?
The cost varies depending on the number of days your child attends and whether you opt for the late stay until 7:00 PM. Please refer to our pricing schedule on the website or contact us for specific rates.

7. What vouchers do you accept?
We welcome TWU Local 100 Union (Reimbursement Only) and HRA/ACD vouchers.

8. What is the staff-to-child ratio?
We maintain a low staff-to-child ratio to ensure individualized attention and support. Typically, the ratio is 1:10.

18. How are the groups divided and what is the group size?
The groups are divided by grade, and each group has 15-18 kids to ensure focused attention and a supportive environment.

9. How do you ensure the safety of the children?
Safety is our top priority. All staff members are thoroughly vetted and trained. We have strict check-in and check-out procedures, and our facilities are secure and regularly inspected.
