Roni Nehmad, our dedicated Israel Fellow, hails from Mevasseret Zion, bringing a rich cultural exchange experience to our team. Roni’s journey from her early years in the scouts, progressing to a counselor in grades 10 to 12, has shaped her into a natural leader.  Having served in the IDF as a combat warrior for two and a half years, Roni’s dedication and leadership abilities have been evident, with roles as a commander for eight months and later as a sergeant for six months.

Last summer, Roni lent her skills as a trip guide at Tamarack camp in Michigan, further expanding her horizons and sharing her passion for exploration. In her leisure time, Roni enjoys staying active and expressing herself through her love for music by playing the guitar.
