Kings Bay Y - Israel Partnership

Gesher: Building Bridges of Connection is a program designed to enrich the lives of two communities, Neve Yakov and Sheepshead Bay.  The program aims to strengthen a collective Jewish identity, to connect individuals around the world and to build a bridge through dialogue, learning, mutual projects and other shared experiences.

This year, join teens from our sister community center, Neve Yaakov to create one of a kind joint cookbook. The cookbook will include recipes and family stories. Participate in cooking contests, leadership seminars, video conferences and other exciting events. Strengthen our friendships with teens from Neve Yaakov as they visit Kings Bay Y and explore NYC. Teens from Kings Bay Y will have a chance to visit Israel next year.

Program made possible by Gesher: Building Bridges of Connection, a generous grant from UJA-Federation of NY.
