Family and Social Services

The Immigrant Services Department provides immigrants with English and Citizenship preparation classes, social service assistance and various social programs. The objective of the department is to help immigrants in the new country and integrate in to our community. Through various services, we welcome new immigrants and help them become active members of our community.

The Way to U.S. Citizenship
The program provides culturally and linguistically sensitive support to all Russian-speaking immigrants in our community who are in the process of applying to the USCIS for naturalization.
The program offers citizenship preparation and ESL/Civics classes. Social service support and naturalization assistance is available through the partnership with the Kings Bay Jewish Community Council.

Free Legal Aid
Tuesdays 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm


The program provides individual half hour consultation sessions with an attorney free of charge.
Topics include immigration and general litigation; real estate and foreclosure proceedings; landlord - tenant experience; general practice.

English as a Second Language Classes (ESL)


This program is designed to help immigrants in the community improve the English language skills. Morning and evening classes offered year-round.
