The Adult Services Department offers a wide range of educational, social and cultural programs for adults and older adults. There are table games available in the adult lounge and game room for leisure and recreation. Members are encouraged to read the front lobby bulletin boards for updates and new events at the Y.

Alzheimer Respite Group

Tuesdays and Thursdays 10 am to 2 pm

The Kings Bay Y offers professional and caring respite services for people with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia.  Music, refreshments, entertainment and support. Transportation is provided.

Project V.I.S.A.

Wednesdays 9:30 am - 2:00 pm

Project VISA is a free specialized program for blind and/or visually-impaired senior adults. Transportation is provided. Adult discussion groups and a special yoga program.

Health Screenings

Thursdays 9:30 am - 12:00 pm

A nurse is available to perform health screenings, blood pressure, answer questions and provide health education.
This program is generously provided by the
Visiting Nurse Service of New York
